Our Coaches
Chris Soakell : Head Coach
Chris is a 4th Dan Black Belt and has been coaching Judo for more than 40 years. He is qualified as a level 3 coach (Senior Club Coach) and also teaches Judo in local schools. Chris was Sports coach of the year for both Wirral and Merseyside, he has been an England development coach, North West coach and team manager.
Anne Loughnane : Deputy Head Coach
Anne is a 3rd Dan Black Belt and has been doing Judo for more than 35 years. She teaches Judo in local schools and is a qualified level 2 coach.
Don Quinn
Don has been doing judo for over 55 years and holds his 4th Dan Black belt. He has a wealth of experience and shares this with all of our judoka (players)
